Talent Acquisition Manager

Madison Heights, MI

We are a fully-integrated supplier of manufacturing and engineering services providing modular assemblies and complex stampings for body-in-white, drive-train, interior and seating applications for the automotive industry. This newly created Talent Acquisition Specialist position reporting to the Director of Human Resources, will assist the Human Resource departments at our various locations  to lead and coordinate the recruiting process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Through various methods, recruit and network with potential candidates
  • Prepare job postings and refine processes that define the requirements of the position
  • Conduct pre screen Interviews and responsible for reference and background checks 
  • Lead and facilitate the interview process
  • Actively work towards building a diverse and qualified workforce to support the organization goals and objectives
  • Maintain relevant recruiting metrics and reports
  • Participate in job/career fairs

Competencies:

  • Significant recruiting experience for a high-volume organization, agency, or search firm strongly preferred
  • Willingness to use various calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applications
  • Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns
  • A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to network and establish professional relationships
  • Availability to travel within the United States and Canada to attend job/career fairs or academic networking events (school career fairs) or to support hiring events
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Job Experience/Requirements: 

  • 3 - 5 years of Staffing or Recruitment experience within a  manufacturing Company
  • Hum an Resources related field or study
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner, detail-oriented and resourceful
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with heavy email, spreadsheets, all Microsoft Office products
