310T Heavy Truck Mechanic

We are looking for 310T Heavy Truck Mechanics in Downtown Toronto -Commissioners Street, to fill an afternoon shift with someone who works well independently as well as in a team environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

•     Have a safety mindset and  willing to comply with the standards and procedures of our company Policies
•     Must have a valid (310T) License 
•    Minimum of 2 years heavy truck experience.
•     A valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
•     Must possess own Hand Tools and Tool Box.
•     Hydraulic systems experience  asset
•     Must have good written and oral communication skills
•     Heavy Truck experience preferred
•     Computer knowledge, creating work orders, utilizing email, is considered an asset
•     Must be organized and willing to exhibit good housekeeping practices in our  shop

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•     Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair
•     Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required
•     Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
•     Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
•     Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies
•     Keep neat and organized records of services and work
