General Purpose:

Do you have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills? Are you a quality wiz in the automotive and manufacturing industry? If you have answered yes, we may have the position for you. As a Quality Supervisor, your job will be to act as the primary customer liaison for the quality department. You will be required to supervise, guide and provide direction to the Quality Department Tech’s and Associates on their designated shift. Additionally, you have the ability to plan, control and coordinate Quality Department activities to achieve business objectives is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordination and control of shift resources to achieve business objectives
  • Ensuring all customer requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Promotion of TEAM work within department and ensure strong communication shift to shift,
  • Issue, track and confirm countermeasure effectiveness and ensure timely closure of trouble reports on existing systems.
  • Providing support for mass productions and New Model Quality related activities as needed as well as verification of New Model, Mass Prod & Supplier parts quality and accuracy through measure data collection, analysis, parts fit and process verification is required.

Qualifications and Nice to Haves:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school;

           or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of

            education and experience.

  • Proven effective communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills, good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • ability to interpret drawings and blueprints through GD&T of parts & equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize measurement capabilities through the use of quality tools and/or equipment is also required. (Decipher CMM & Scan reports)
  • Further, the incumbent must demonstrate proven ability to create, interpret and analyze various forms of data (measurement, information, CPK, PPK etc) and be able to prioritize work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
